Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a technique used to inject active ingredients subcutaneously. This is not about parallel medicine or alternative medicine. It simply consists of droplets of medication being placed under the skin. Its main advantage is to obtain a local effect without toxicity to other organs and without drug interaction. In aesthetic medicine, mesotherapy makes it possible to treat:

• Cutaneous aging, by injecting a mixture of vitamins and hyaluronic acid. The result is a brightening effect, a gradual reduction of fine lines and a firming of the skin.
• Cellulite, by injecting drugs that release fat, tones muscles and veins. The result is a fat loss measurable in centimeters and a decrease of the ” orange peel ” effect.
• Hair loss, by injecting vitamins and trace elements necessary for regrowth. The result is a stop to hair loss at first and slow regrowth afterwards.

The treatment is administered with very fine needles. It is practically painless and requires no preparation or special care after the treatment. The injections cause moderate pain felt as mosquito bites. They can be practiced by hand or with an electric gun. Haematomas are uncommon on the face and regress within a few days on the body.

There are no contraindications other than pregnancy. The treatment is carried out at the rate of one treatment every 10 days for 4 to 6 weeks, followed by reminders every 6 to 8 weeks.
